Sony Corporation was founded by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita. It has been one of the world’s largest media conglomerates. They are headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Sony is one of the leading manufacturers of products such as electronics, video, communications, video game consoles, and information technology. Sony Corporation’s name came from the Latin word sonus meaning sound.
